Picture Day OS
Operating System for Professional Photographers
Picture Day OS is a business operating system designed for professional photographers. Each photographer or studio works in its own private Studio workspace to run the business side of photography in one place.
01
What Picture Day OS does
Picture Day OS helps photographers manage:
- Clients and contacts
- Projects and shoots
- Appointments and consultations
- Scheduling and availability
- Team members
- Documents
- Payments and finance workflows
- Day-to-day business organization
- AI-assisted Studio workflows, where included in the photographer's plan
02
Google Calendar integration
Picture Day OS allows photographers to optionally connect their Google Calendar. Google Calendar access is used to support scheduling and appointment availability.
When a photographer connects Google Calendar, Picture Day OS may use authorized calendar information to:
- Identify the calendars available to the photographer
- Check free/busy availability
- Prevent appointment conflicts and double booking
- Determine which appointment times can be offered
- Support scheduling inside Picture Day OS
03
Privacy of calendar information
Customer-facing scheduling never exposes private Google Calendar event information. Customers only see whether a time is available or unavailable, and which appointment times can be booked.
Customers never see private event names, descriptions, attendees, personal appointments or other calendar details. Picture Day OS does not use Google Calendar information for advertising or resale.
04
How Google user data is used
Picture Day OS uses Google user data only to provide functionality requested by the user, including calendar connection, availability checking, and appointment scheduling.
Google user data is not sold or used for advertising.
05
Connecting is optional
Connecting a Google Calendar is optional. Picture Day OS includes its own calendar and Studio scheduling features, and photographers can use Picture Day OS without connecting Google Calendar. A connection can be removed at any time.
06
Data separation
Each photographer operates within their own Picture Day OS Studio workspace. Calendar connections and Studio information belong to that Studio and are not shared with other Studios.
07
Google API Limited Use
Picture Day OS's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google Workspace API data is not used to train, develop, or improve generalized AI or machine-learning models. Where Picture Day OS's AI assistant (Kia) answers scheduling questions, Google Calendar availability information is used only to provide the user-facing scheduling and availability feature.
Photographers can disconnect Google Calendar at any time inside Picture Day OS (Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar → Disconnect), which deletes the stored connection and revokes our access, or revoke access from their Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
